The following events are to be mentioned under the name Siege of Stralsund :
- Siege of Stralsund (1628) : Was the unsuccessful siege of the city by Wallenstein from 23 May to 28 July 1628.
- Siege of Stralsund (1678) : Was the successful capture of Stralsund after a siege from September 20, 1678 to October 15, 1678 by a Brandenburg army in the Northern War from 1674 to 1679.
- Siege of Stralsund (1711) : In which a Russian-Danish army besieged the city unsuccessfully in the Great Northern War from September 7, 1711 to January 7, 1712.
- Siege of Stralsund (1712) : A Russian-Saxon army besieged the fortress of Stralsund in vain from May 1712 to September 26, 1712.
- Siege of Stralsund (1713) : For the third time in the Great Northern War, the fortress was besieged, again unsuccessfully, by a Russian army from June to October 1713.
- Siege of Stralsund (1715) : From July 12, 1715 to December 24, 1715, a Prussian-Danish-Saxon army besieged and conquered the city as part of the Pomeranian campaign of 1715/16 .
- Siege of Stralsund (1758) : Siege by Prussian troops in 1758 as part of the Seven Years' War .
- Siege of Stralsund (1806/07) : Siege by French troops as part of the 4th coalition war from October 29, 1806 - August 20, 1807. After the siege was interrupted by an armistice, the city was finally taken by the besiegers.
- Battle in Stralsund (1809) : After Ferdinand von Schill and his troops entered the fortress city, the city was recaptured on May 31 by a 6,000-strong Danish-Dutch army on the side of the French.
