Bellot is a small impact crater on the southwestern bank of the Mare Fecunditatis . It lies between the Goclenius craters in the northwest and Crozier in the southeast. In the southwest you can see the Colombo crater and in the west you can see Magelhaens .

Bellot is circular and bowl-shaped and the inner walls of the crater slope gently towards the relatively small crater floor. The inside of the crater has a higher albedo than the surrounding surface.
