Belloy is a Franco-Belgian comic series published between 1948 and 1958 .

Belloy is a strong knight who goes on some fantastic adventures in the Middle Ages with his adoptive father.

Albert Uderzo wrote and sketched the first three short stories for a French magazine. After its end, Uderzo was hired by Yves Cheron for the International Press. There he met Jean-Michel Charlier , who wrote the next four episodes for him. The first twenty pages of the last story were drawn by Pierre Dupuis .

Publications

The series first appeared in OK magazine, then in La Wallonie newspaper and finally in Pistolin magazine. The last four stories were reprinted in Pilote and La Libre Junior and later released in album form by publishers Michel Deligne and Claude Lefrancq. Carlsen released two albums in the Collection Al Uderzo series.
