Ben Sims , actually Ben Stocker , is a techno - DJ and - producer from London .

Life

At the age of 10, Ben Sims started mixing hip-hop records. From 1991 he was involved in various pirate channels and presented his music almost exclusively on the radio. After the authorities increasingly fought against the illegal broadcasting stations in 1995, Sims increasingly appeared in clubs. From 1997 he became known on an international level through the establishment of his record label Theory Recordings and the in-house productions published on it.

Ben Sims also publishes under the pseudonyms Aural Emote , Emote and Kehso . He has worked with artists such as Mark Williams , Rue East , Mark Broom and Vincent Davis.

His productions have appeared on the record labels Tresor Records , Hardgroove , Killa Bite , Tempo Music , Pure Plastic , Dark House Music , Phont Music and Drumcode . Together with Chris Liebing he released the single CLR13 .
