Drumcode is a record label created in 1996 by Adam Beyer and Cari Lekebusch in Sweden .
Artists like Thomas Krome , Oliver Ho and Marco Carola helped the label, founded in 1996, to become widely known in the mid-1990s. The style of the individual releases is exclusively techno- oriented electronic dance music, which ranges from metallic clinking industrial sounds to playful and minimalist sounds. All releases are always driving and always danceable.
The label often has its own stage at festivals, such as the Awakenings or 2018 Tomorrowland .
On August 18, 2018, the first own festival under the name Drumcode Festival will take place in cooperation with the producers of Awakening on the former yard of the Nederlandsche Dok en Scheepsbouw Maatschappij (NDSM shipyard) in Amsterdam .
