Cari Lekebusch

Cari Lekebusch (born January 7, 1972 ; bourgeois Kari Pekka Lekebusch ) is a Swedish techno artist . He is also known by the pseudonyms Braincell and Mr. James Barth .

Along with Adam Beyer and Joel Mull, Lekebusch is one of the best-known techno producers in his home country. He had his first gigs and productions in the early 90s. In 1994 he founded the label Hybrid Sound Architectures , which in 1996 after a dispute with the British group Hybrid in H. Productions has been renamed. The sublabels Kaun Trax (1994), Djupt (1998), Grundtakt (2000) and Audio Mekanixc (2002) followed.

His first album was released under the pseudonym Braincell on the Harthouse label . Together with Adam Beyer , with whom he worked for a long time in the well-known Stockholm record store Planet Rhythm , he founded the music label Drumcode in 1996 . There are now other sub-labels, such as B. CodeRed (1997) and TrueSoul (2003).
