Joseph Capriati (born Giuseppe Capriati , * 25. July 1987 in Caserta , Italy ) is an Italian DJ and techno - producer .

Life

Capriati grew up in the Italian city of Caserta , near Naples . He said he heard a DJ for the first time at the age of eleven and wanted to become a disc jockey from then on. He saved money to buy the necessary equipment and a short time later he started performing at smaller events in Italy.

In 2003 he started producing songs himself, which in 2007 led to the release of his first single entitled Microbiotic .

Capriati's first tracks were shaped by the musical style of artists such as Masters at Work , Danny Tenaglia , Little Louie Vega , François Kevorkian and Claudio Coccoluto .

In 2010 he released his first solo album, Save My Soul , which featured a downbeat music style. Over time, Capriati became better known internationally and played together with greats like Adam Beyer , Marco Carola , and Danny Tenaglia .

Today Capriati is represented at many festivals around the world, for example Tomorrowland  in Belgium or the Time Warp Festival in Mannheim.
