Ben Woldring

Berendt Pieter Woldring (born February 6, 1985 in Groningen ) is a Dutch internet entrepreneur in the field of price comparison portals .

Both parents were primary school teachers. In 1998 a school project resulted in a price comparison site for mobile phone tariffs. Woldring was soon a guest on Dutch TV talk shows such as Kassa and Jeugdjournal . In 2000 he founded Bencom BV with the help and signature of his mother ; there are now nine price comparison portals and his parents are the first of a total of 22 employees in his native Usquert (municipality of Eemsmond ) and in Groningen.

In 2003 he was named Entrepreneur of the Year ( Ernst & Young Prize ). He is now the ambassador of the Beatrix Children's Clinic in Groningen, named after the queen .

After graduating from high school, Ben Woldring first studied economics and since 2005 art history at the University of Groningen .
