Bendinat
Bendinat is a Spanish town in the municipality of Calvià on Mallorca . The population is around 521.

Bendinat is located on the west coast of the island of Mallorca at the foot of the Serra de na Burguesa . After Portals Nous in the West is about 700 m. The main thoroughfare is the C-719 county road.
Infrastructure
One of the most famous golf courses on the island and a stretch of beach can be found here. The region belongs to the upscale residential area of the island. In the 19th century a neo-Gothic castle was built here, which is modeled on other Central European castles.
history
The legend about the name of the place says that King Jaime I stopped here after conquering the island and ate a bread soup with olives and garlic. After eating it, he called out in Mallorcan language: 'Bé hem dinat' , which translates as 'how well we ate' . Other theories suggest that the name of the region comes from Arabic. There 'Ben-hijo de' means 'son of'.
