Benedikt Güttl (born February 18, 1994 in Vienna ) is an Austrian basketball player who is under contract with the Swans Gmunden .

career

Güttl comes from the offspring of the Arkadia Traiskirchen Lions, in the 2011/12 season he made his debut in the Bundesliga . In the following years he continuously developed into a top performer of the team and became team captain . In the 2018/19 season, he was named the best defense player in the Bundesliga.

During the summer break of 2019, he moved from Traiskirchen to Gmunden within the Bundesliga.

National team

With the U18 national team he took part in the B-EM in 2012, in July 2017 he made his debut in the men's national team .
