Benedictas Petrauskas
Benediktas Petrauskas (born March 2, 1955 in Taischet , Irkutsk Oblast , Soviet Union ) is a Lithuanian politician.
Life
After graduating from secondary school in Klaipėda in 1973 , Petrauskas graduated from Inžinerinis statybos institutas in Vilnius in 1978 and became an industrial engineer and received his doctorate in 1997 from Vilniaus Gedimino technikos universitetas . From 1990 to 1992 he was the deputy mayor of Klaipėda and from 1992 to 1994 mayor . Since 1998 he has been teaching at the Klaipėdos universitetas .
He is Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan in Klaipėda.
