Beni Bertrand Binobagira

Beni Bertrand Binobagira (born April 5, 1989 in Bujumbura ) is a Burundian swimmer .

The 1.76 meter tall athlete competed in the 14th FINA World Championships in July 2011 in Shanghai . There he finished 64th over the 100-meter butterfly course with a time of 1: 19.76 minutes. He finished the 100-meter freestyle competition in 98th place. For this he needed 1: 03.39 minutes. Binobagira was in the six-man squad for the Burundian team for the 2012 Summer Olympics . In London he started on the 100-meter freestyle course. In his 100 meter freestyle preliminary run, Binobagira managed to finish 4th among four participants with a time of 1: 04.57 minutes. He missed the semifinals and finished the competition as the last of the 56 starters.
