Benno Hardmeier

Benno Hardmeier (* 1930 in Winterthur ) is a Swiss journalist .

Hardmeier grew up in Winterthur and studied economics at the University of Zurich . In 1957 he received his doctorate with a thesis on the history of social democratic ideas in Switzerland (1920–1945) . From 1959 to 1960 he was the editor in charge of the Rote Revue . He also wrote for the quarterly journal of the Swiss Federation of Trade Unions, Trade Union Review, and worked for the Swiss Central Workers' Education Center.
