Benno Neumüller

Benno Neumüller (born August 25, 1961 ) is a German sports presenter.

After completing a degree in sports, Neumüller completed an internship at Deutsche Welle in Cologne. He then worked for the WDR from 1986 . In 1988 he moved to RTL for a year before returning to his previous employer. In the 1990s he hosted for ARDas part of sports reporting in the fields of tennis, hockey, volleyball and table tennis. From 1996 to 1999 he was editor-in-chief of “Sportschau”. From 1999 to January 2007 he worked for the station Premiere, first as editor-in-chief football, then from 2003 as editor-in-chief for sport and finally from 2006 as editorial director for sport. Since February 2007 he has been the founder of "contenthouse GmbH" in Munich.
