The Bennskjera ( Norwegian for Benn skerries , English Benn Skerries ) are a group of reef rocks in the South Atlantic . They are distributed 500 m west of Cape Norvegiaodden on Bouvet Island over a length of 400 m.
They were discovered and mapped in December 1927 during the Norvegia research voyage under Captain Harald Horntvedt (1879–1946). The naming background has not survived.
