Bente Scheller
Bente Aika Scheller is a German political scientist.
Career
From 2002 to 2004, Scheller was a counter-terrorism consultant at the German embassy in Damascus and then did her doctorate on Syrian foreign policy with a graduate scholarship from the Friedrich Ebert Foundation at the Free University of Berlin . From 2008 to 2012 she headed the Afghanistan office of the Heinrich Böll Foundation , and since 2012 the regional Middle East office of the HBS in Beirut . In Berlin she was the head of the Syria program at the Aspen Institute Berlin .
