A reviewer of the [Süddeutsche Zeitung] criticized "the somewhat striking representation" of Wildangel's dissertation. He was a fellow at the House of Representatives in Washington, DC for Representative Jim McDermott. From the beginning of 2012 to September 2015, he heads the regional office for Palestine and Jordan of the Heinrich Böll Foundation in Ramallah in the West Bank .
