The Berende Cove (English; Bulgarian залив Беренде saliw Berende ) is a 3.3 km wide and 1.15 km long bay on the southwest coast of Greenwich Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located south of Pelishat Point . The Jakoruda glacier flows into it .
Bulgarian scientists mapped it in 2009 The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2010 after the village of Berende in western Bulgaria .
