The ARX-160 is an assault rifle made by the Italian company Beretta .

The rifle was presented to the public in June 2007 in the Italian arms magazine "Armi e Tiro" before the manufacturer announced it. The official presentation of the ARX-160 took place at the MILIPOL 2007 in Paris. It is part of the Soldato Futuro modernization program of the Italian Armed Forces . In addition to a quick-change barrel in caliber 5.56 x 45 mm it can be fitted with one as GLX-160 labeled 40-mm grenade launchers are equipped.
