Bergens Tidende (BT) is one in Bergen in Vestland ( Norway issued) newspaper . The newspaper appears daily, on Saturdays with a magazine insert (BT Magasinet) and since September 2006 in tabloid format . The editor-in-chief is Frøy Gudbrandsen. The owner of Bergens Tidende is Schibsted Norge AS .

The newspaper founded by Johan Wilhelm Eide first appeared on January 2, 1868, making it one of Norway's oldest newspapers .

The net circulation in 2010 was 82,432 copies on weekdays and 80,971 copies on Sundays. In terms of circulation, Bergens Tidende is Norway's fourth largest newspaper.
