Berghäuser is a settlement belonging to the district of Lehn in the municipality of Hochkirch in Saxony .

geography

The mountain houses are located southwest of Lehn in the woods on the northern slope of the Richtersberg. To the southwest, the small settlement is dominated by the 542 m high Hochstein and 505.1 m high Kuppritzer Berg . A road leads from Jauernick to the settlement.

history

The settlement, consisting of four properties, was laid out in 1809 by the owners of the Lehn estate for manorial forest workers. In the Oberreitschen Atlas there is also a summer house in the settlement.

The settlement was part of the municipality of Lehn until 1957. With this together it was incorporated into Plotzen . The mountain houses have belonged to the municipality of Hochkirch since 1993.
