Bergshamra is an underground station on the Stockholm Metro . It is located in the Bergshamra district of the same name in the municipality of Solna . The station is served by the Röda linjen of the Stockholm metro system . It is one of the less frequented stations on the underground network. Around 6,000 commuters get on here on a normal working day.

The station was put into operation on January 29, 1978, when the northernmost section of the Röda linjen between Universitetet and Mörby centrum was inaugurated. The platforms are about 20 meters underground. The station is between the Universitetet and Danderyds sjukhus stations . It is about seven kilometers to Stockholm Central Station.
