Berit Reichel

Berit Reichel (* 1967 ) is a German lifeguard .

In 2006 she became world champion with the 4-by-50-meter relay in obstacle swimming and with the 4-by-50-meter puppet rescue relay together with Marion Hannebohm , Gisela Schönfeld and Susanne Gierlich . At the 2008 World Championships she won gold twice and silver and bronze once each. She works as a swimming trainer in Magdeburg (as of 2017).

In 2006, Reichel was allowed to enter the Golden Book of the city of Magdeburg in recognition of her sporting success at the 2006 World Cup .
