The Berkowiza Glacier ( Bulgarian ледник Берковица lednik Berkowiza ) is a glacier on Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It flows from the southeast slopes of Oryahovo Heights and the northwest slopes of Snow Peak in a northeastern direction to Prisoe Cove , which it reaches between Avitohol Point and Remetalk Point .
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2005 after the town of Berkovitsa in western Bulgaria .
