A group of Apulian red-figure vases from the 2nd half of the 4th century BC is known as the Berlin Ganymed Group . Chr., Which are stylistically close to the Lykurgos painter . These are vases that were painted in the so-called ornate style and are among the highest quality Lower Italian vase paintings. The painting is characterized by its shortened perspective and the staggered structure of the image. The figures shown appear light and elegant. The group is named after the cup crater F 3297 in the Berlin Collection of Antiquities , on which the rare depiction of the Ganymed boy can be seen, who is pursued by Zeus in the form of a swan.
