The Berna 2VM is a 4x4 truck that Berna produced from 1964 to 1976 in a total of 1,600 units. The Berna company was bought by Adolph Saurer AG in 1929 , which is why Saurer in Arbon produced the Saurer 2DM , which is by and large identical to the Berna 2VM.
The Swiss Army also used the Berna 2VM in several special versions, such as dump trucks , snow plows or aircraft tankers .
Berna 2VM were also sold for civil use.
One vehicle is now in the Swiss Military Museum Full .
