Bernabé Rivera is a town in northern Uruguay .
geography
It is located in the northern part of the Artigas Department in its 4th sector south of the Cuchilla Yacaré Cururú . The source of the Cañada del Capón is located nearby . A few kilometers south of the Arroyo Tres Cruces Grande , north of the Arroyo Yacaré Grande . The closest larger settlements are Topador in the east, Paso Farías in the southwest and Javier de Viana in the southeast.

On May 26, 1924, Bernabé Rivera was classified in the "Pueblo" category by Law No. 7720.

With the Centro Educativo Integrado - Bernabé Rivera, founded on May 15, 1996, Bernabé Rivera has a secondary school ( Liceo ). In 2008 the school had 57 students.
