Bernard Férié

Bernard Férié (* 1947 ) is a French director.

Since 1970 Férie has made 13 short films for the cinema ( Quelques gouttes d'orage , La septième chandelle ) and for television ( L'Océan dans la tête , Les mots de Pierre ). He made his feature film debut in 1980 with Éclipse sur un ancien chemin vers Compostelle with Jean Martin , Martine Chevallier , Bruno Pradal and Jean Barney . Férié tells the story of a village archivist obsessed with an 11th century legend. His second film L'ange foudroyé (1983) with Mathieu Carrière and Maud Rayer tells of Friedrich Hölderlin and his love for his ideal Diotema. For his third feature film Une petite fille dans les tournesols , a mythological fairy tale about coping with grief with Claude Jade in search of her missing husband, he received the Prix ​​de la Société des Auteurs . Since then, Bernard Férié has been a documentary director. Between 2001 and 2008 he produced and staged the 47-part portrait series Regards Singuliers .
