Bernardino García (born August 13, 1952 in La Experiencia , Jalisco ), also known by his shortened first name Berna , is a former Mexican football player on the position of a left winger .
Life
After he had spent his youth at his hometown club Club Deportivo Imperio , Berna García received a professional contract in 1970 with the neighboring Club Atlas Guadalajara , where he was under contract until 1977. He then moved to the city rivals Club Universidad de Guadalajara and ended his active career with the UANL Tigres .
During his time at Club Atlas, Berna García played two international appearances for the Mexican national team in friendly matches against the GDR (2: 3) on August 1, 1975 and against Yugoslavia (0: 1) on February 8, 1977.
