La Experiencia

La Experiencia is a delegación in the north of the city of Zapopan in the greater Guadalajara area , the capital of the Mexican state of Jalisco .

history

The story of La Experiencia begins in 1851 with the opening of a spinning and weaving mill of the same name by Spanish entrepreneurs. It didn't take long for the factory to attract a number of people who were looking for work and who settled in the area. Gradually the settlement continued to grow and finally received the status of municipality.

Sports

On June 12, 1918, the Club Deportivo Imperio was founded in La Experiencia , which has acquired national importance due to its excellent youth work in football . Between 1950 and 1966, a total of seven of the players who emerged from his offspring took part in a soccer world championship .
