Ernesto Cisneros Salcedo (born October 26, 1940 in La Experiencia , Jalisco ) is a former Mexican soccer player who began his career as a right winger, then worked for a while as a center forward and later acted in the attacking midfield. After the end of his active career, he worked for a long time as a coach for amateur and leisure teams. Only in 1978 he had a brief and unsuccessful engagement as head coach of the CF Atlante , where he had ended his active career in 1972.

Cisneros spent his youth at Club Imperio , an association in the La Experiencia district in the north of Zapopan . In 1956, at the age of 16, he was signed by Atlas Guadalajara . His professional career began with this club in 1958. In 1962 he moved to CD Zacatepec , who had just been relegated to the second division at the time , but at least managed to get promoted again in the 1962/63 season. Even when Zacatepec was relegated from the first division again in 1966 , Cisneros, who was now a national player, initially stayed in Zacatepec and played another year in the second division. After this time the immediate resurgence had not succeeded, he moved before the season 1967/68 the time still in the Mexican capital settled CF Atlante , where he remained until the end of his active career in the 1971-72 season was under contract.
