Bernd Luetjen

Bernd Lütjen (* 22. December 1963 in Osterholz-Scharmbeck , Lower Saxony ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and, since 2013 District Administrator of the district Osterholz .

Bernd Lütjen has been the district administrator of the Osterholz district since 2013.

education and profession

Lütjen attended the Wallhöfen elementary school from 1970 to 1973, the orientation level in Hambergen from 1973 to 1975 and the Osterholz-Scharmbeck grammar school from 1975 to 1982. After graduating from high school there, he completed an apprenticeship as a district inspector candidate in the Osterholz district from 1982 to 1985. He also studied at the University of Applied Sciences for Administration and Justice in Oldenburg and obtained a degree in administrative management. From 1985 to 2001 Lütjen worked in various functions for the Osterholz district.

Lütjen has been married since 1990. The marriage had three children, a son and two daughters.

Political career

Lütjen joined the SPD in 1982. From 1996 to 2001 he was chairman of the SPD district association Scharmbeckstotel. Furthermore, he was a member of the city council of Osterholz-Scharmbeck from 1996 to 2001 and was an assessor in the SPD local committee of Osterholz-Scharmbeck from 2000 to 2001. In 2001 he was elected mayor of the Hambergen municipality . In 2006 he was re-elected. In September 2013 he was elected to the district administrator of the district of Osterholz with 56.92% of the votes cast in the first ballot. Among other things, he is the chairman of the Zweckverband Verkehrsverbund Bremen / Niedersachsen (ZVBN).
