Bernd Nathmann (born July 14, 1957 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

In 1975 Bernd Nathmann moved from Olympia Lampertheim to Kickers Offenbach . In the first season, the 18-year-old was in the Offenbach Bundesliga squad, but has not yet played. After the subsequent relegation to the 2nd Bundesliga, Nathmann came to his first missions. Until he moved to Wormatia Worms in 1979, he mostly remained a “joker” and could not fight for a regular place. That changed in Worms, where he became a fixture and goalscorer. After the descent of Wormatia in the Oberliga Südwest in 1982, he initially remained loyal to the club. The recovery did not succeed, Nathmann went to VfR Bürstadt in the Oberliga Hessen. With Bürstadt he won the championship in 1984 and rose to the second division with his club. Nathmann, however, moved to SV Sandhausen (Oberliga Baden-Württemberg) after a season at VfR . With the SVS he was also in the first year Oberliga master, in the promotion round to the 2nd Bundesliga, however, was not successful. In the second year with Nathmann, SV Sandhausen reached fourth place in the table, Bernd Nathmann was fourth-best goalscorer of the league season with 17 goals. In 1986 he returned to Wormatia Worms, in 1988 he joined the FV Biblis.
