Bernd Schumacher (born January 21, 1961 ) is a German moderator and media entrepreneur.

Life

At the age of 18, Schumacher started as the youngest radio presenter at HR3 and SWF3 , where he first produced contributions and later also presented the programs Pop auf Wunsch, Maximix, Mittagsdiskotheke, Popnovitäten at HR3 and Musikzeit, Jukebox, Radio Club at SWF3. He used it to finance a degree in media education with a focus on journalism . After completing his studies, he started working on the ZDF show 2. Bernd Schumacher also presented his first music TV programs here. This was followed by presentations on RTL , Sat.1 , RPR1 / Radio4 and RTL-Ba-Wü / Hit1, among others.

Bernd Schumacher founded the production company "DFF Deutsche Film Fernsehen" in 1986, with which he produces programs for various broadcasters. In 1988 he founded the radio broadcaster Radio Ladies First , where he was a regular presenter on the "Bernie Show". 1993 - 1994 he presented the daily SAT 1 show 5 times 5 . In 1995 Schumacher founded the television broadcaster B.TV , where he was managing director, program director and show host.

During the summer of 2011, Bernd Schumacher moderated and produced the 3-hour midnight late-talk esoteric show "Institute for Future Interpretation" on Super RTL twice a week .

Schumacher has been running the radio station Top20Radio since May 2013 and again hosts a “Bernie Show” every day.

According to his own statements, he currently (as of February 2015) has a teaching position at the Berlin University of Technology and Economics .
