Bernd Stehmann (born September 1, 1965 ) is a German neo-Nazi who has been active in various right-wing extremist organizations and in a nationwide network since the 1980s.

activities

Stehmann is to be seen as a leading activist in the neo-Nazi scene in the East Westphalian region. His “career” began around the neo-Nazi Nationalist Front (NF), which was banned in 1992 by the Federal Ministry of the Interior. As early as the mid-nineties he was involved in building up the “Free Comradeships” and was considered the comradeship leader of the New Front (GdNF) community around Michael Kühnen .

In his career he went through numerous extreme right-wing organizations, including as an activist of the now banned Freedom German Workers' Party (FAP). He has "excellent connections to leading activists of the German neo-Nazi scene".

Around the turn of the millennium, he built up the comradeship that was active more than ten years ago in East Westphalia and established a strategically important neonacite meeting place in the Bielefeld pub "Postmeister". As a result and through his move from Bielefeld to the village Leopoldshöhe ( Lippe district ), he also came into contact with young people in order to win them over to the neo-Nazi way of life.

Stehmann was the publisher of the scene magazine "Our World" and majority shareholder of "FSN Medien Zentralversand GmbH", the nationwide central mail order company for "Free Comradeships".

In addition, he is a nationwide participant and co-organizer of neo-Nazi marches and was involved as a steward in the "Rudolf Hess memorial marches" in Wunsiedel in the early 1990s . He is active in the structure and logistics of the annual neo-Nazi march in Bad Nenndorf. In the past, he also regularly organized buses to travel to demonstrations. He belongs to the neo-Nazi network “Westphalia North”, to which Peter Hallmann , who also lives in Leopoldshöhe, belongs.

Stehmann also maintains close contacts with the NPD . He is listed as the person responsible for the homepage of the NPD Ostwestfalen and was already responsible for billposting in elections.

In 2014, Stehmann was banned from entering the Oerlinghausen Archaeological Open-Air Museum.

Stehmann is regularly mentioned in reports on the protection of the constitution and in publications by the Ministry of the Interior in North Rhine-Westphalia.

meaning

Bernd Stehmann has an extensive network thanks to his longstanding activities in the neo-Nazi scene. In relation to other actors from the extreme right, his continuity makes him an "old fighter". For this reason alone, he is shown respect and recognition within the scene. Although Stehmann himself was never a right-wing skinhead, he always formed a link between organizations, the comradeships, the NPD and the youth culture-oriented skinhead scene.
