Bernd Stolzenberg

Bernd Stolzenberg (* July 1943 ) is a German building IT specialist .

Bernd Stolzenberg studied civil engineering and was professor for building informatics at the University of Kassel . Since 1974 he has been head of the building informatics department of Department 14 (civil engineering), which became a member of the Institute for Construction Industry (IBW) in July 2000. Stolzenberg was dean for one year, member of the board of directors of the IBW and most recently also chairman of the teaching and study committee. In June 2008 he retired.

Stolzenberg initially worked on aspects of software engineering and the information organization of construction companies. He later focused his research on topics such as CAD interfaces, product data management and facility management . His service began with programs on punched cards and ended with modern development tools for programming .
