Bernd Zymek

Bernd Zymek (* 1944 ) is a German educator.

Life

From 1963 to 1972 he studied history, German literature and education at the University of Würzburg and the Ruhr University in Bochum . After the state examination in 1969, his doctorate in Bochum in 1974 and his habilitation in 1981 in Bochum, he taught from 1997 to 2009 as a professor of general and historical education at the University of Münster .

His areas of work are general education, social history of education and the educational system, and comparative education.
