The Bernhard-Christoph-Faust-Medal is an award of the federal state of Hesse , which was donated on December 22, 1993 by the then Prime Minister Hans Eichel . The medal is awarded as recognition of outstanding services to the health promotion of the Hessian population as well as in the obligatory thought of the founder of the health promotion Bernhard Christoph Faust .

Eligible persons

The medal can only be awarded as an award to those people who have fulfilled their professional obligations in practical health management or through exemplary commitment in service or who have been actively involved in health promotion for many years, as well as the health of the individual and the general public have sustainably promoted in accordance with the guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO). The medal is awarded by the Hessian Minister for Youth, Family and Health together with a certificate. The medal becomes the property of the borrower. His surviving dependents are not obliged to return them.
