Bernhard Dressler

Bernhard Dressler (* 1947 in Peine ) is a German practical theologian and religious educator .

Life

Dressler studied Protestant theology and political science at the Georg-August University in Göttingen and the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main . From 1979 to 1991 he was a teacher at the Integrated Comprehensive School Hannover-Linden. In 1989 he was at the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz University of Hanover with the dissertation on "Sinization of Marxism". An examination of programmatic theories on the peasant revolution in China for Dr. phil. PhD. From 1991 to 1995 he was a lecturer and from 1995 to 2003 rector at the Religious Education Institute Loccum of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hanover . In 2003 he became professor for practical theology / religious education at the Philipps University of Marburg . He is married and has a daughter.
