Bernhard Kühns

Bernhard Kühns , also Bernhardus Kühnsius , (baptized April 10, 1682 in Burg near Magdeburg ; † July 5, 1729 or 1730 in Päwesin ) was a German pedagogue, cantor and Protestant pastor.

Life

Kühns attended the Magdeburg Cathedral High School . As a theology student he was named in the register of the University of Helmstedt on April 20, 1703 and the University of Halle-Wittenberg in June 1707. His appointment as cantor at the Saldern School in Brandenburg-Neustadt took place on January 14, 1711. Later he was sub-principal and vice-principal at the "Saldria". After his ordination on November 20, 1724 in Brandenburg, Kühns was pastor in Päwesin until his death. For the year of his death, the parish register of the parish of Päwesin in the Brandenburg Cathedral Monastery Archives names the interpretation-dependent entry: 1729/1730.
