Bernhard Kauter
Bernhard Kauter (born June 24, 1942 in Bern ) is a Swiss winemaker , former sword fencer and surveyor, geometer, graduate engineer ETH.
Professional
Bernhard Kauter is the son of the Swiss agricultural scientist Alfred Kauter and studied at the ETH Zurich . He was the founder of one of the most important surveying offices in the canton of Bern, the Geoplan Team office. In 1975, Kauter established the office in Nidau.
fencing
As an epee fencer, Kauter won several medals at national and international tournaments and was, among other things, in the semifinals of the most prestigious World Cup tournament, Challenge Monal in Paris . Later, Kauter took over the presidency of the fencing club in Bern and was then asked as president of the Swiss fencing association. He turned down this post because of the professional career.
Wine - Tocco di Spada
After his retirement, Kauter studied viticulture at Changins University and now makes his own wine . He operates in the canton of Ticino the vineyard of his brother, Christian cautery, and produces Merlot , this is a red wine - grape . The self-produced wine bears the name Tocco di Spada .
