Bernhard Knoblauch

Otto Bernhard Knoblauch (born May 9, 1851 in Berlin , † December 12, 1927 in Berlin) was a German fermentation chemist, brewery director and association president.

Life

Otto Bernhard Knoblauch was the younger brother of the brewery founder Armand Knoblauch . After studying chemistry, he also worked for the Bohemian Brewery from 1884 .

From 1885 he was chairman of the Berlin brewery and malting trade association . In 1889 he initiated the German General Exhibition on Accident Prevention in Berlin. In addition, he organized ambulance transport and the first aid association in Berlin.

From 1902 to 1925, Bernhard Knoblauch was president of the brewery experimental and training institute which his brother helped found .
