Bernhard Rammerstorfer (* 1968 in Niederwaldkirchen , Austria ) is an Austrian author and award-winning filmmaker and film producer .

Life and works

In 1999, Bernhard Rammerstorfer wrote and published the book No instead of Yes and Amen , which tells the life story of conscientious objector Leopold Engleitner . Rammerstorfer is also the producer of the documentary of the same name, No Instead of Yes and Amen .

In 2008 he published the new version of Engleitner's Unbroken Will , which was published as an expanded and revised edition in 2011. The book has been translated into English (2004), French (2007) and Russian (2009). In 2006 Rammerstorfer produced the documentary Unbroken Will Captivates the United States , which premiered at Laemmle's Music Hall 3 Theater in Beverly Hills , Los Angeles, and in 2008 the documentary Unbroken Will on US Lecture Tour: Leopold Engleitner's Tireless Commitment to Tolerance, Humanity and peace in the 101st year of life .
