Bernhard Rentsch

Bernhard Rentsch (born May 4, 1856 in Großröhrsdorf ; † August 10, 1945 in Kamenz ) was a German surveyor and politician.

After attending the Württemberg Geometer School from 1876 to 1878, which is associated with the Stuttgart construction trade school, and then studying at the Technical University of Dresden, Rentsch became a railway geometer in Großröhrsdorf in May 1879, in 1883 in Kamenz and later in Radeberg.

From 1897 to 1918 he was a member of the Saxon state parliament . In 1926 his hometown Großröhrsdorf granted him honorary citizenship .
