Coordinates: 54 ° 40 ′ 47 ″  N , 25 ° 18 ′ 31 ″  E The St. Bernard Cemetery (lit. Bernardinų kapinės ) is a cemetery in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius , in the Užupis district, on the right bank of the Vilnia . The cemetery is a historical and cultural monument. The territory is 3.6 hectares. The cemetery was established in1810at the request of the Saint Bernard dogs. Burials began on October 2, 1810. A chapel was built around 1825.
