Bernward Malaka
Bernward Malaka (born August 31, 1962 in Düsseldorf ) is a German musician, internet entrepreneur and media consultant. He was also active as a publisher .
Malaka co-founded the German punk band Male in 1976 and founded the internationally successful industrial band Die Krupps in 1980 . In Jürgen Teipel's book Verschwende Deine Jugend , Malaka tells his memories from this time.
In the 1990s he played a key role in setting up the TV book publisher vgs and from 2000 to 2004 he headed the book division of the Egmont Group in Germany with the comic publishers Ehapa Comic Collection and Egmont Manga & Anime . Malaka is the managing director of now-in.org GmbH, which operates an event search engine of the same name.
