Bert Spilles

Bert Spilles (* 17th September 1958 in Meckenheim ) is a municipal official ( CDU ) and full-time mayor of the city of Meckenheim in Rhein-Sieg-Kreis in North Rhine-Westphalia .

Bert Spilles trained in the city administration of his hometown after graduating from high school. He completed his training as an administrative graduate . In 1986 he moved to the Federal Ministry of Economics . After that he worked for two years abroad for professional reasons at the EU representation in Brussels and the German-Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Sydney . In 2003 Bert Spilles returned to Meckenheim. From 1986 to 2008 he was a member of the city council, where he held various positions.

After the election on March 2, 2008, Spilles was re-elected full-time mayor of Meckenheim on January 26, 2014.

Spilles is married and has three children. He lives in Meckenheim.
