Berta Bauer
Berta Bauer (born March 2, 1935 in Parkstein ; † July 16, 2010 ; born Berta Pöllmann ) was a German entrepreneur. She was the managing partner of the construction company Wilhelm Bauer GmbH & Co KG in Erbendorf .
Career
On June 24, 1958, Pöllmann married the Erbendorf building contractor and architect Wilhelm Bauer. The marriage had three children. After the death of her husband in 1978, she took over the management of the construction company. Under her leadership, the company grew into the largest construction company in Erbendorf. After handing over the business to her son Christian, she remained involved in important decisions as senior manager.
In addition to her entrepreneurial activity, she appeared as a promoter of sport and culture. She supported associations of the city of Erbendorf with free construction work or donations.
