Berthold Kaulfuss

Berthold Kaulfuß (* 1813 ; † after 1864 ) was a German civil servant and politician.

Life

Kaulfuß was employed in the Prussian police and penal service until 1836. In 1836 he succeeded Johann Gottlieb Baecker as mayor in Nakel . In 1850 he was a member of the Volkshaus of the Erfurt Union Parliament . From 1856 he was paralyzed and after prolonged unsuccessful treatments he was retired on July 1, 1857 with a pension of 320 Reichstalers. Due to the low pension, he applied several times for support, which was also granted. He last lived in Bromberg in 1864.
