Bertram Börner (* 1934 ) is a German lawyer and notary .

Life

On July 10, 1968, Bertram Börner was admitted to the bar for the district of the Higher Regional Court of Celle , which also includes Hanover . In 1971 he also became a notary.

In addition to his activities as a defender of members of the Socialist German Student Union (SDS) and the 1968 movement , he made a name for himself far beyond the borders of Lower Saxony, for example as the defender of Pastor Klaus Geyer .

Börner was a co-founder and, in particular, the decisive sponsor of the Alternative Lawyers' Days . The lawyer legal policy also active founded in 1977 for the first time nationwide held Strafverteidiger days .

In 1982 he became a member, in 1992 chairman of the chamber in the district court, also its executive chairman. In this function, he was “significantly involved in the organization and implementation of the first all-German Lawyers' Disciplinary Conference , which met on May 12, 1995 in the capital of Lower Saxony.

In August 2008, Bertram Börner was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon .
